Industrial Fire Precaution Levels on Public Lands

Outdoor Burning Regulations
The fire district sets the outdoor burning season based on atmosheric conditions. The typical burning season in the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District is November through April. Open burning shall also be conducted as required by other governing agencies regulating burning and emissions. It is required to have a copy of the Outdoor Burning Regulations on site. Failure to follow the burning requirements will be a class "D" violation, punishable by a base fine amount of $95.00 per violation, upon conviction and/or suppression of the fire. Safe burning tips: Don't burn on windy days, burn early in the day when it is cool, humidity is higher and winds are light. If your fire gets out of control, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY!
